The ZD40-10 Compact Cylinder is the largest bore in the ZD thin family at 40 mm, paired with a 10 mm stroke and a factory-fitted magnetic ring for position sensing. Carroland specifies it for demanding electronics fixtures that need maximum compact-cylinder force in a minimal envelope.
With the widest piston area in the series, the ZD40-10 delivers substantial clamp and press force at standard line pressure. The magnetic ring enables non-contact stroke detection so the cell can verify clamp state before releasing the next step, and the precision guide keeps the rod true under the higher side loads of a 40 mm bore.
