The ZRT32-10 Tandem Cylinder is a single-axis, double-force actuator: two pistons working in series on one rod multiply output force at the same air pressure. Carroland designed the ZRT family for clamping and pressing where a standard cylinder of the same 32 mm bore would fall short on force.
By stacking piston areas, the ZRT delivers roughly twice the thrust of a single-piston 32 mm cylinder without increasing bore or supply pressure. The single-axis layout keeps the force vector inline, ideal for press-fit and firm holding. A magnetic ring provides end-of-stroke confirmation to the controller.
