The SXL(R)25×10 Rotary Clamping Cylinder integrates rotation and clamping into a single actuator, letting a 25 mm bore deliver reliable clamp force with a 10 mm stroke. Carroland engineered the SXL family to collapse what used to be two stations โ a turner and a clamp โ into one compact unit on iPhone production lines.
The combined motion first rotates the arm into position, then clamps, so the part is located and secured in a single cycle. The 25 mm bore covers standard-duty clamping, while selectable Left (L) or Right (R) rotation adapts the unit to either side of a fixture. A magnetic ring confirms actuation state for sequence control.
